Good things are coming to FX. Deadline reports the network’s new comedy series Better Things will premiere in September.
The show is based on co-creator Pamela Adlon’s life as a “single mother and middle-class actress.” Louis CK, the comedy’s other co-creator, directed the pilot and will serve as an executive producer.
At a recent Emmy screening of Horace and Pete, CK discussed Better Things, saying:
That woman (character) doesn’t exist on TV that I’ve seen. Pamela really shaped the show and directed the best episodes.”
Better Things premieres on September 8th on FX.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Adlon from Louie? Will you watch Better Things?
