Are you a big Beverly Hills, 90210 fan? Recently, TVLine revealed new details about the “reboot” in the works.
The original teen drama aired on FOX between 1990 and 2000. The cast included Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley, Luke Perry, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, and Gabrielle Carteris. The show has since spawned four spin-offs, including Melrose Place and 90210, a CW reboot that ran between 2008 and 2013.
As reported earlier, several stars from the original Beverly Hills, 90210 are working on a revival of the ’90s TV show. However, according to TVLine, this “revival” isn’t a straightforward rehash of the original series.
Apparently, the “reboot” would “find former 90210 cast members Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris playing themselves — albeit in a somewhat heightened state. The potential series — which was first rumored last March — would chronicle the gang’s efforts to get (another) 90210 revival off the ground.”
So far, a network is not attached to the project.
