This sitcom follows a unique mixed marriage between nose-twitching witch Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) and mortal Darrin Stevens (Dick York, later played by Dick Sargent). Samantha’s mother Endora (Agnes Moorhead) disapproves of Darrin, consistently mis-remembers his name, and makes it difficult for the couple to live the normal lifestyle Darrin would prefer. Darrin works for Larry Tate (David White) of the McMann and Tate advertising agency and frequently brings clients to the Stevens house.
