Beyond is already set for a second season after a quick renewal during the TCA’s earlier this month, and two of the stars of the series have revealed what they would like to see happen on the series next season in an interview with TV Guide.
Jonathan Whitesell appears on the Freeform series as the younger brother of Holden, who is played by Burkely Duffield. He said the following about what he wants to see during season two:
“I feel like Luke is finally in a position where he has a tad bit of normalcy again. I feel like he really kind of understands Holden, and the brother dynamic that was switched has now kind of gone back to what it used to be. I’m really excited just to have more scenes with Luke and Holden.”
Duffield added his own thoughts on the pair’s relationship:
“It’s a relationship that’s been growing and right near the end it started to hit that kilter where it was before. To be able to propel into the next season on the same side, I think, for the Matthews brothers is going to be pretty cool.”
Fans can see the entire series now on the Freeform site with episodes airing Monday nights on television.
