Big Little Lies may still make a return for a second season. The series, which was a hit for HBO, was meant to be an event series with only one season, but viewers want more. The author of the book admitted in previous interviews that a second story was possible.
Now two members of the cast have spoken up about the possibility of a season two. The HBO series starred Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon.
Witherspoon said the following:
“We had initial conversations with (author) Liane Moriarty and she’s thinking about it, it’s up to her.”
Kidman chimed in with the following:
“She is writing ideas and we’re hopeful. The characters are all so strong and to just leave them would be sad.”
