TV show description:
When a car accident leaves bartender Jaime Wells Sommers (Michelle Ryan) brutally injured and dying, her life is saved through an operation that implants top-secret technology created her boyfriend, Dr. Will Anthros (Chris Bowers).
The bionic implants replace her legs, right arm, right ear and right eye and give Jamie incredible super-strength, speed, hearing and eyesight.
The operation also leaves her with an obligation to work for the highly-secretive Berkut group as a covert agent. Jamie’s initial challenge is confronting the first bionic woman, Sarah Corvis (Katee Sackhoff), who is mentally unbalanced and who assassinates Will.
Other characters include Berkut founder and CEO Jonas (Miguel Ferrer); second-in-command Ruth (Molly Price); special operations team leader Jae (Will Yun Lee); and Jaime’s younger sister Becca (Lucy Hale).
The show is a reimagining of the 1976 series.
