Blindspot is one of the biggest new arrivals of the Fall 2015 season. NBC has already ordered more scripts for the series, and it is already being considered a shoe-in for renewal because of its ratings.

Viewers are focused on Jaimie Alexander’s character and watching her story unfold on Monday nights. There is a lot more drama and suspense ahead on the series, and the man behind the series has plans for the series already in mind.

According to Tell Tale TV, Martin Gero spoke with the media about his outlook for Blindspot. What does he have planned?

“There’s a real concrete plan for the first three seasons, and then I have an idea on how to take it past there if we get there. Nowadays, people have been so burned by an idea that can last ten episodes. So you really have to come up with an enormous amount of backstory. We have all of the ten full episodes for the first season mapped out, and we know what the second season is and how to get into the third season.”

If you needed more proof that this NBC drama is a hit, Variety reported on Saturday that Blindspot had a huge jump in the ratings for last Monday’s episode. The jump came from delayed viewers. The series already has strong live ratings, but when you add in DVR viewers – it is clear people are watching Blindspot.

Blindspot will continue to air on Monday nights on NBC. Are you a fan of this NBC series? Tell us what you think.
