What’s this TV show about?
Airing on the NBC television network, Blindspot begins when a Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) is found inside a body bag that’s been left in Times Square. Jane is covered with complex tattoos and has no memory of her previous existence. FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and his team are called in and they discover an ever-widening web of conspiracy and corruption with a nefarious group at the center. The second season cast also includes Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson, Ukweli Roach, Luke Mitchell, Michelle Hurd, and Archie Panjabi.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Blindspot on NBC averaged a 1.03 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.90 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 43% in the demo and down by 29% in total viewers. Compare its standing against the other NBC TV shows we are tracking. Unfortunately, despite continuing to have great lead-in support from The Voice, the ratings continued to fall. Moved to Wednesdays for season two, the numbers have continued to fall. NBC could renew Blindspot for a third season but, it is a close call, considering the ratings. I’m circling this one. 5/10 update: Blindspot is renewed for season three on NBC. Details here.
