Syfy is adding some fresh blood to the mix. Deadline reports Christina Ochoa has been cast in the network’s new series Blood Drive.
From James Roland, John Hlavin, and David Straiton, the grindhouse-style drama follows Arthur Bailey (Alan Ritchson), a former cop who becomes involved with “an underground death race in which the cars run on human blood.”
Ochoa will play Grace, a “dangerous femme fatale” who partners with Arthur and participates in the Blood Drive to help win money for her sister. Blood Drive has already been given a 13-episode order for its first season.
