Bodies get buried. Secrets don’t. In advance of the May 27th premiere, Netflix has released a new trailer for the second season of its Bloodline TV series. A psychological thriller, Bloodline stars Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelson, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz, Jacinda Barrett, Enrique Murciano, Sam Shepard, Sissy Spacek, John Leguizamo, and Andrea Riseborough.
The new trailer is a featurette called, “Two Sides of the Keys.” In it the stars, including Chandler, Cardellini, Spacek, and Mendelson discuss how the Florida Keys contributes to the storyline of this gritty drama and set up season two. Chandler’s John Rayburn says, “I always thought the greatest thing that ever happened to me was being born a Rayburn. Now I’m not so sure. We’re not bad people, but we did a bad thing.”
Mendelson talks about his character Danny Rayburn, and how the conflict surrounding him in the first season set things in motion. For the second season, the actor teases, “Now the Rayburns have a time of reckoning ahead.”
Cardellini promises, “Season two really hits the ground running.”
Butz says, “You’re going to see characters who are bonded by a terrible secret.”
Chandler sets up Bloodline‘s second season: “Well, it gets more intense and people are asking more questions.” Later, he adds, “There are less ways to cover everything up. Things are being revealed.”
