Blue Bloods: Season Seven Ratings

Despite the fact that it airs on Friday nights, Blue Bloods has continued to be a ratings success story for CBS. However, scripted shows tend to get more expensive as the years wear on. How long will this police family drama continue? Will it be cancelled or will it be renewed for an eighth season? Stay tuned.

Blue Bloods revolves around the Irish-American Reagans, a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. The cast includes Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Amy Carlson, Sami Gayle, Vanessa Ray, and Marisa Ramirez.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
