Breaking Bad aired for five seasons on AMC. It aired its final episode in 2013, and fans are still loyal to the series that starred Bryan Cranston as Walter White.
The actor spoke about the end of the series in a new interview in Playboy Magazine. Does he miss the show? Cranston admitted that he does not miss the series, but he does miss something about his time with Breaking Bad.
“We so thoroughly examined that character and that experience. I miss the people. I miss being around those actors and writers and directors and crew. And I miss Albuquerque.”
Cranston talked about some of the time he spent on set. He was known as a prankster on set, and he admits he did things on set to “break the tension.”
One of those tension breaking moments on set occurred during the filming for the final episode. He was shooting a scene with his co-star Aaron Paul. In a past interview, Paul revealed that he had seen Cranston’s butt on more than one occasion, and one of those times was during the shooting of the finale.
Cranston shared the story with Playboy.
“The very last shot we did for Breaking Bad—a flashback of Aaron and me cooking meth together—I’m wearing an apron. I’m supposed to turn away from him at one point, and I happen to be in sweats. So while they’re setting up the shot, I kind of wiggle out of the sweats. I’m wearing the apron, so he doesn’t even notice. But then we start shooting, and I turn around and just flash him my a**.”
Since the end of Breaking Bad, a spin-off from the series called Better Caul Saul has aired on AMC. Fans will see season two of that series early next year.
