Coffee is really just chemicals, and who knows chemicals better than Walter White? According to Grub Street, a new Breaking Bad-inspired café is set to open in Brooklyn.
The café, Walter’s Coffee Roastery, opened its first branch in Istanbul about a year ago.
Owned by Munich-native Deniz Kosan, Walter’s Coffee Roastery features art and items inspired by the AMC drama. Kosan did clarify the coffee shop is not intended to be entirely Breaking Bad-themed:
It’s Breaking Bad–inspired, not Breaking Bad–themed. I can’t make it clear enough that this isn’t a theme park, but a unique coffee shop with just hints of the TV show.”
Like the series, the coffee shop specializes in chemistry, dubbing itself “the first coffee laboratory” on their website. The Brooklyn location is expected to open sometime this summer.
