Breaking Bad: TV Show-Themed Restaurant Opens in Australia

Breaking Bad

It seems Australia is the place to go to open a TV-themed restaurant. Just last week, we reported that a George Costanza-themed bar had opened in Melbourne. Now, The AU Review is reporting that a Breaking Bad-themed restaurant has opened down under.

Dubbed Heisenberg Haus (after Walter White’s meth kingpin alter ego), the restaurant opened in Ipswich in mid-December.

Concurrent with the name, Heisenberg Haus is a German restaurant that offers a wide variety of German delicacies like schnitzel, sauerkraut, beer gravy, and pork knuckle. Though the show had little connection to German culture, the restaurant has named their dishes and drinks after several of the show’s characters and references.

Fans can order cocktails like the “Blue Meth Surprise” or the “Badger and Skinny Pete.”

What do you think? Would you visit Heisenberg Haus? What would you order? What other TV show-themed eateries should open in Australia?
