It wasn’t just fans who experienced the tragic realism of Breaking Bad. On a recent episode of Conan, Aaron Paul said he used to have nightmares about Krysten Ritter’s character, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Ritter played Jesse Pinkman’s (Paul) girlfriend on season two of the AMC drama.
In the interview, Paul said:
I would dream as if I’d wake up and I’d see Jane there, lying dead next to me. I’d try to revive her, and then I’d wake up out of a nightmare, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, that was a dream,’ and then it’s Jane again.”
He added:
As an actor, you try and force yourself to believe that situations are truly happening to you as the character. I was just so in that guy’s skin for so many years.”
Paul currently stars on Hulu’s new drama series The Path, which just premiered last month.
