NEW YORK, February 2, 2017 – Check out the official trailer for the Seeso Original Series “MY BROTHER, MY BROTHER AND ME,” a comedy advice show starring real-life brothers Justin, Travis, and Griffin McElroy.

Guest stars for the upcoming series include Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Hank Green, John Green and the “Property Brothers” (Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott).

The McElroy Brothers launched the “My BROTHER, MY BROTHER AND ME” (MBMBaM) podcast – from which the Seeso Original Series is adapted – in 2010 as a way to stay in touch after Travis (the middle brother) and Griffin (the baby) moved away from oldest brother Justin and their hometown of Huntington, West Virginia. The boys decided to make an advice show because it seemed to require very little preparation. No, it’s not the most inventive format, but this was 2010, there were only like seven other podcasts around. They’ve occasionally welcomed guest experts (“guestperts”) to make their advice exponentially more useful, including Academy Award nominated and Grammy, Tony, Emmy and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, In The Heights, Disney’s Moana), Eat Pray Love author Elizabeth Gilbert and Kingkiller Chronicle author Patrick Rothfuss.

In addition to helping their listeners, The McElroy Brothers also answer questions from the Yahoo! Answers service and will continue to do so until it is inevitably, tragically shuttered. They’re also all dads now, a fact they should probably get in the habit of listing higher.

“MY BROTHER, MY BROTHER AND ME”

“MY BROTHER, MY BROTHER AND ME” is a comedy advice show that barely offers any advice (and usually spirals out of control). In each episode, real-life brothers Justin, Travis, and Griffin McElroy pick a question from a viewer and spin it into a ridiculous adventure set in their hometown of Huntington, West Virginia. With cameras in tow, the brothers end up dragging their families, local luminaries, celebrity guests, and supernatural entities into their whirlpool of comedy chaos. The TV show is an adaptation of the McElroy’s popular podcast that has over 59 million downloads and an already expansive community of fans. Produced by Embassy Row with Michael Davies, J.D. Amato, Debbie DeMontreux and Stacey Altman serving as Executive Producers. Justin, Travis, and Griffin McElroy also serve as Executive Producers.”
