Adam Rose is heading to Prime Video. Deadline reports the Aliens in America star has joined the streaming service’s upcoming pilot Budding Prospects.
Based on the TC Boyle novel, the comedy is set in the 1980s and follows three brothers who move from San Francisco to the country to grow marijuana. Melissa Axelrod is writing the series and Terry Zwigoff will direct.
Rose will play one of the brothers, Felix, who is described as “a lovelorn romantic who is sensitive, brooding, vulnerable and ruefully self-aware but also likable and compelling.” He joins fellow cast members Joel David Moore and Will Sasso.
