Dermot Mulroney has been tapped to star in the Bunker Hill TV series pilot. Mulroney will play surgeon Walter Wallace. From creator Jason Katims, Bunker Hill features a Silicon Valley tech mogul, James Bell (Augustus Prew) who drafts this surgeon with a past to help him start a new hospital that takes a “new school” approach to medical care.
Mulroney joins Prew, and Brenda Song, who plays computer programmer Angie. Katims will executive produce with Michelle Lee, and David Semel. Semel is also set to direct the pilot. Update 5/13/2016: The pilot was ordered to series under a new title, Pure Genius.
Variety describes Mulroney’s character as, “…a surgeon who may care a bit too much about his patients.”
