Hallmark Channel has a special gift in store for fans of When Calls the Heart. Recently, the network announced there will be a two-hour special this Christmas.
When Calls the Heart follows Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), a young teacher from high society who moves to a small coal mining town in rural Canada. The cast also includes Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Chelah Horsdal, Mitchell Kummen, Gracyn Shinyei, and Martin Cummins.
The Christmas special will air on December 25th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Although the residents of Hope Valley have been busily preparing for the most festive Christmas the town has ever had, bad weather gets in the way of their plans. Not to be discouraged, the townspeople come together to create a special holiday celebration – complete with a Nativity presentation by the schoolchildren – that will infuse everyone with the true spirit of the season.”
