CBS is changing things up. Deadline reports the network has shortened the upcoming series The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey and moved up the season eight premiere of NCIS: Los Angeles.
The Case Of will re-examine the famous 1996 murder of six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey with new testimonials from some of the case’s investigators. The series was originally slated to be six hours, but has now been cut down to four.
The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey will air as part of a two-night event, starting on September 18th and ending on September 19th. Season eight of NCIS: LA will now premiere on September 25th.

10:30-11:30 PM, ET/CT; 10:00-11:00 PM, PT Drama (Rebroadcast-TBD)
THE CASE OF: JONBENÉT RAMSEY will now be broadcast as a four-hour limited series on Sunday, Sept. 18 (8:30-10:30 PM ET/8:00-10:00 PM, PT) and Monday, Sept. 19 (9:00-11:00 PM).”
