Cast Reunions of Eight is Enough, The Partridge Family, and The Brady Bunch!

Fans of classic 1970’s TV will want to tune in to the Today Show next week. The NBC morning news program is reuniting members of the sitcom families from Eight Is Enough, The Partridge Family, and The Brady Bunch.

On Monday, March 1st, members of the Bradford clan from Eight Is Enough are getting together. Scheduled to appear are Dick Van Patten, Betty Buckley, Grant Goodeve, Laurie Walters, Connie Needham, Dianne Kay, and Willie Aames.

The crew hasn’t been together on TV since their reunion movies — Eight is Enough: A Family Reunion (1987) and An Eight Is Enough Wedding (1989). Buckley, who plays stepmother Abby, didn’t appear in either reunion movie so this will be her first time back with the cast in 19 years (at least onscreen).

On Tuesday, March 2nd, the singing members of The Partridge Family will be coming to Today. Expected to attend are Shirley Jones, David Cassidy, Danny Bonaduce, and Brian Forster. A couple castmembers have reunited here and there over the years but it’s been awhile since we’ve seen this many Partridges together at once.

And then, on Wednesday, March 3rd, the ever-popular Brady Bunch family will reunite. Tune in to see Florence Henderson, Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland, Eve Plumb, and Susan Olsen.

This reunion is significant since Plumb is taking part. She rarely takes part in the Brady reunions these days, especially since co-star Maureen McCormick made some “jokes” about their relationship while promoting her autobiography. It’s possible that Plumb agreed to appear on Today because McCormick won’t be there.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to seeing a particular cast reunion? Is there another family reunion you’d prefer to see instead?
