Castle‘s foundation has been shaken. The series’ creator, Andrew W. Marlowe, and the series’ former writer, Terri Edda Miller, have responded to ABC’s recent dismissal of cast members Stana Katic and Tamala Jones, TVLine reports.
Several of the show’s stars, including Nathan Fillion, have already posted their immediate responses to the casting changes.
On Twitter, both Marlowe and Miller expressed dismay at ABC’s decision to let go both Katic and Jones:
Heartbroken. There are no words. #nmc

I loved working with @tamalajones and @Stana_Katic It was a privilege and we had many unforgettable and great experiences.

Apparently, cast members Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever have also been let go. ABC has still not announced whether or not Castle will return for a ninth season.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Castle? Would you still watch the show without Katic and Jones?
