Sharon and Rob are back. Amazon has announced that season two of Catastrophe will premiere on April 8th.
Season two will feature six new episodes from creators/stars Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan.
In anticipation of the new season, Delaney and Horgan spoke at the TCA winter press tour about what will happen in season two. At the end of season one, the fictional Rob and Sharon found themselves getting married with an unexpected baby on the way.
Both said the second season will concentrate on their new marriage rather than focusing on the baby. Horgan said:
“We concentrated on the their relationship, how the baby and having a family affects their love. We didn’t want to get bogged down with them having a new baby. It’s more interesting to show them further into their relationship.”
