CBS TV show ratingsThe Tiffany network had mixed results last night, per the fast affiliate ratings. CSI: Miami, 60 Minutes, and The Good Wife were all down when compared to their last originals. Good Wife actually hit a new series low. The Amazing Race was up significantly however — mostly thanks to last week’s episode taking a big hit when it aired opposite the Oscars. Still, CBS has found a way to spin the numbers in their press release.

Here’s the press release from CBS regarding the ratings for Sunday, March 4, 2012:

“THE AMAZING RACE” UP +27% IN ADULTS 18-49 AND +35% IN VIEWERS VERSUS LAST WEEK
“60 Minutes,” “The Good Wife” and “CSI: Miami” Win Time Periods in Viewers

CBS First on Sunday in Viewers

THE AMAZING RACE notched significant across-the-board gains and 60 MINUTES, THE GOOD WIFE and CSI: MIAMI won their respective time periods in viewers leading CBS to a Sunday win in viewers, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for March 4.

60 MINUTES was first in households (7.3/12), viewers (11.47m) and adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and second in adults 18-49 (1.6/05).

THE AMAZING RACE 20 was second in households (6.0/09), viewers (10.37m, -0.25m behind ABC), adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/07). Compared to last week, THE AMAZING RACE 20 was up +40% in households (from 4.3/06), +23% in adults 25-54 (from 3.1/06), +27% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/05) and added +2.66m viewers (from 7.71m, +35%).

THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (6.3/09), viewers (9.71m) while averaging 2.7/06 in adults 25-54 and 1.8/04 in adults 18-49.

CSI: MIAMI was first in households (6.4/11) and viewers (10.00m) while averaging 2.8/07 in adults 25-54 and 2.0/05 in adults 18-49.

For the night, CBS was first in households (6.5/10) and viewers (10.39m) and second in adults 25-54 (3.0/07) and adults 18-49 (2.1/05).
