CBS TV Show Ratings: October 12, 2010; Network Wins in 18-49 Demo

CBS is First in Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the Fourth Consecutive Week

All Three Dramas Post Week-to-Week Increases in Adults 18-49

“NCIS” is the Night’s #1 Program in Viewers and Adults 25-54

“NCIS: Los Angeles” and “The Good Wife” Sweep Time Periods in Viewers and Key Demos

CBS placed first on Tuesday in viewers, adults 18-49 (tie) and adults 25-54 as NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES and THE GOOD WIFE all notched week-to-week increases in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 12.

While this marks CBS’s fourth consecutive Tuesday win in viewers and adults 25-54, it is the first time this season that the Network topped the night in adults 18-49.

At 8:00 PM, NCIS was first in households (11.5/18), viewers (18.97m), adults 25-54 (5.3/13) and second in adults 18-49 (3.9/11). Compared to last week, NCIS was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/11) and even in adults 25-54.

At 9:00 PM, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (16.06m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09). Compared to last week, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09) and even in adults 25-54.

At 10:00 PM, THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (7.6/13), viewers (11.80m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/07) for the third straight week. Compared to last week, THE GOOD WIFE was +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07).

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.6/15), viewers (15.61m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.3/09, with FOX).
