Courteney Cox is returning to the small screen with a new comedy series. FOX has picked up her comedy pilot, which is currently titled Charity Case.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cox will star in the series “as Hailey, a woman who quickly finds that changing the world is far less glamorous than she had imagined after she inherits her late billionaire husband’s charity.”
Cox will also executive produce the series with Robert Padnick and James Griffiths. Cox is no stranger to comedies on television. She starred in both Friends and Cougar Town. The latter recently ended its run on TBS after six seasons.
