Netflix is getting in the talk show business. This week, Chelsea Handler announced the premiere date and title of her upcoming Netflix talk show, Chelsea, EW reports.
The show is part of an overall deal between Handler and Netflix that also includes a stand-up special and her docu-series, Chelsea Does.
As on Handler’s E! talk show, Chelsea Lately, her Netflix series will feature celebrity interviews and a live audience. Episodes will air every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Chelsea begins May 11th on Netflix.
From Handler:
We thought long and hard about the title for my new Netflix show. After two to three long hours, we came up with the name Chelsea. That’s it, just Chelsea. Not Just Chelsea. Chelsea, because that’s my name.”
