Netflix has announced Chelsea Handler’s new Chelsea Does TV show will premiere worldwide, Saturday, January 23, 2016. In the four-part documentary series, Handler explores topics such as marriage, racism, Silicon Valley, and drugs. Watch a new trailer, below.
As is customary for Netflix, all four episodes will drop the same day. A day prior to the release, Netflix will premiere Chelsea Does, at the Sundance Film Festival. The series is directed by Eddie Schmidt and executive produced by Schmidt, Handler and Morgan Neville.
Handler’s last series, Chelsea Lately, ended in 2014, after seven seasons. Whether or not Chelsea Lately was cancelled is a matter of perspective. Handler made no secret of her desire to end the show, and E! chose not to renew it.
