The show must go on. Variety reports Bill Wolff, the executive producer/showrunner of Chelsea, has left the new Netflix talk show.
Hosted Chelsea Handler, the series premiered only a few weeks ago on May 11th.
According to Variety, Wolff’s position will not be replaced. Instead, Handler will lead the show. Regarding Wolff’s exit, the host made a brief statement:
I’m grateful that Bill was part of the pioneering effort to get Netflix’s first talk show off the ground.”
Wolff also added:
“I am excited for Chelsea as she continues to produce her singular vision for a television talk show. My friends at Netflix provide the foremost platform in developing ambitious and compelling creative content.”
Chelsea airs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
