NBC is taking Chicago to court. Deadline reports the network has officially picked up Dick Wolf’s latest Chicago spin-off series, Chicago Justice.
The show debuted as a backdoor pilot during this week’s episode of Chicago PD. It marks the fourth installment in Wolf’s Chicago franchise.
The backdoor pilot fared well in the ratings, earning a 1.40 in the 18-49 demo and around 6.86 million viewers.
Chicago Justice centers on the lawyers and investigators of the city’s State Attorney office who handle Chicago’s complex cases and politics. Philip Winchester, Carl Weathers, Nazneen Contractor, Joelle Carter, and Ryan-James Hatanaka star.
