What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Chicago PD follows the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s District 21 who pursue the perpetrators of major street crimes in the “Windy City.” Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) is at the heart of the war on crime in Chicago and will do anything to bring criminals to justice. The series also features the talents of Sophia Bush, Patrick John Flueger, LaRoyce Hawkins, Elias Koteas, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Marina Squerciati, and Amy Morton.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of Chicago PD on NBC averaged a 1.37 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.54 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 11% in the demo and down by 5% in total viewers. Compare its standing against the other NBC TV shows we are tracking. Telly’s Take
Part of NBC’s Chicago franchise, Chicago PD continues to do well for the network. Its ratings are down but the TV series is still one of the peacock network’s top-rated scripted series. I have no doubt that NBC will renew Chicago PD for a fifth season.
