Wendell Pierce is coming to NBC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Wire star has joined season five of Chicago PD.
Pierce will play “Alderman Ray Price, a shrewd, intelligent and determined Teflon politician who seemingly plays neutral and picks sides all at once” on the upcoming season of the cop procedural. The cast also includes Sophia Bush, Patrick John Flueger, LaRoyce Hawkins, Elias Koteas, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Marina Squerciati, and Amy Morton.
Season five of Chicago PD premieres on NBC on September 27th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
