Will justice prevail on the seventh season of the Chicago PD TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Chicago PD is cancelled or renewed for season eight. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the season seven episodes of Chicago PD for us here. *Status update below.
An NBC police drama, Chicago PD stars Jason Beghe, Jesse Lee Soffer, Patrick John Flueger, Marina Squerciati, LaRoyce Hawkins, Amy Morton, and Tracy Spiridakos. This TV show follows the personal and professional lives of the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intelligence Unit. They combat the city’s most heinous offenses including organized crime, drug trafficking, and high-profile murders. Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) is at the center of the department’s war on crime and he’ll do anything to bring criminals to justice. The series also features crossovers with Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.

*2/27/20 update: NBC has renewed Chicago PD for three years — season eight (2020-21), season nine (2021-22), and season 10 (2022-23).
Chicago PD Is definitely on my weekly watch list! The conditions of working in a big city in a special unit is thought provoking every week. While it is definitely entertaining, I always can feel that the storylines are very real. Love the characters and always get pulled into what is going on. Love the show!
good show first seasons were great last two to me the writers have been all over the place

i love chicago pd mainly because of jason beghe a/k/a/ sgft hank voight. he is truly phenom,enal, a star in his own right and has made cpd the successful series that it is today. i would never watch any show because i adore jason beghe and he has proven himself time and rime again what a fantastic actor he is. lu reilly
I so much like the this show! It shows what life is like among this amazing special group of Chicago Police. Normally, I watch British police shows; yet, Chicago PD has caught my interest!
Dick Wolfe has made another great program that focuses on what life is about in the real world. I compliment each of the actors who make Chicago PD a show to watch!
The best show on tv,incredible acting and scipts.If I have one complaint I dont think,the new det is a good fit.At all for the show shes,sorry to say not a good actress at all.

I personally enjoy Chicago PD. Wednesday nite is FRIENDS NIGHT! We all gather to watch CPD! This is INTELLIGENCE ! They move at speed and accuracy! Voight governs with a tough hand. But, his character proves over and over a loving and caring heart. He has a great team going. The new young lady hasn’t grown on me yet. I really miss Alvin… you guys have to do something to recreate a deep relationship for Voight. He has no one to be really with.Who KNOWS HIM. You’ve taken his family, Erin, and then Alvin. I really enjoy the Chicago series shows. I was not real crazy of them taking off a couple of the main characters in the last couple of seasons but I do not miss an episode! I especially love the cross over events!
I FOR ONE HAPPEN TO LOVE CHICAGO PD WITH ITS STAR JASON BEGHE WHO I KNOW IS INCREDIBLY TALENTED AND HIS ACTING IS SUPERB. I FOR ONE WILL BE EXTREMELY UPSET IF CHICAGO IS EVEN CONSIDERED TO BE CANCELLED THAT IS SO UNFAIR TO THE MILLIONS OF VIEWERS WHO WATCH IT ESPECIALLY FOR JASON BEGHE WHOSE TALENT IS THROUGH THE ROOF TOPS. Agree with you 1000 %! Voight is a complex character, and he portrays the complexity of his character really well. And, on a related note…the writers need to write in a love interest for Hank Voight. But it can’t be conventional. It has to be the right woman who has insights into Voight and who appreciates and recognizes the good in him. I think it would be great to have him get involved in a deep friendship that grows into a love relationship. Needs to be the right person. love chicago PD; the other shows, Chicago Med and Chicago FD seem a little over the top; I was in EMS for many years; but Chicago PD is in a class of it’s own. Love the scripts, the stories. I would sure hate to see this one cancelled.
