It looks like Chiller is being killed off. Deadline reports NBCUniversal is shutting down the channel after 10 years.
The horror-centric cable channel primarily broadcasts horror films and older TV shows like Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Tales from the Crypt, and The Twilight. The network premiered its first and only original scripted drama, Slasher, in 2016.
According to Deadline, Chiller is being axed because major TV providers like Dish, Cox, and Spectrum have dropped the channel from their lineup. The channel is scheduled to close at the end of 2017.
