Carrie Preston is heading to TNT. Deadline reports the True Blood actress has been cast in the network’s new pilot, Claws.
From Eliot Laurence, the dramedy “follows the lives of five diverse and treacherous Florida manicurists. It soon becomes clear there is a lot more going on at the Nail Artisan of Manatee County salon than silk wraps and pedicures.”
Preston will play “Polly, a mild-mannered preppy who works as a manicurist at the nail salon. Polly has recently been released from prison, where she did time for identity theft on seniors.”
