It’s Tyler Perry’s world and we’re just living in it. According to The Hollywood Reporter, TLC will make its scripted series debut with a new show from the media mogul titled Too Close to Home.
Perry currently produces four series on OWN, including If Loving You is Wrong and The Haves and the Have Nots.
Too Close to Home will “center on a young woman who achieves unparalleled success on the Washington political circuit, only to see it slip away when her affair with a married senator makes headlines.She is forced back to her trailer-park beginnings, where her past and its players resurface.”
Perry will write, produce, and direct the drama.
