Code Black has some new company. Deadline reports Camryn Manheim (pictured), Eric Roberts, and Alexandra Grey have been cast in season two of the CBS series.
The medical drama follows an LA emergency room under pressure from low funding and staffing. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Raza Jaffrey, Bonnie Somerville, Melanie Chandra, William Allen Young, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Luis Guzman.
The three actors will guest star in the upcoming season two episode “Life and Limb.”
From Deadline:
Manheim will play Alice, the emotionally distraught wife of a truck driver who is injured in a horrific accident. Roberts will portray Vince Savetti, Mario’s (Ben Hollingsworth) opportunistic, but sympathetic father who tries to hustle his son into an investment. Grey is a transgender actress who will play the role of Beth, a strong, confident transgender woman. When stomach pains send her to the ER, she is forced to confront her past.”
Season two of Code Black debuts this fall.
