Confederate is the next series to come from the minds of David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, but fans of their work will have some time to wait before the series arrives. The pair need to focus on wrapping Game of Thrones first.
HBO president Casey Bloys spoke about the future of the HBO series at the TCA’s. Deadline shared the following from the man:
“Dave and David are in production on Game of Thrones, they are still talking (about Confederate) but it’s going to be a year year, year and a half before there is anything. They have to finish GOT.”
