Conviction: ABC Confirms Remaining Episodes Moving to Sundays

Conviction TV show on ABC

Well, it’s official. Deadline reports ABC is moving the final episodes of Conviction to Sunday nights starting in January.

The legal drama stars Hayley Atwell as Hayes Morrison, a lawyer and daughter of a former U.S. president who is “blackmailed” into joining an organization that re-examines wrongful convictions. The cast also includes Eddie Cahill, Shawn Ashmore, Merrin Dungey, Emily Kinney, Manny Montana, and Daniel Franzese.

Last month, ABC opted not to order more episodes of the freshman season, sparking rumors the series would be cancelled. While the network has not officially nixed the show, ratings have not been optimal. So far, Conviction has received an average rating of .74 in the 18-49 demo and 4.115 million viewers—low for a primetime network drama.

In an unsurprising move, ABC has decided to move the final four episodes to Sundays, starting January 1st at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

What do you think? Do you watch Conviction? Do you want a second season?
