In releasing its 2017-18 development slate, Comedy Central also announced it has ordered the Corporate TV show pilot to series. The cable network first put the scripted workplace comedy into development, back in November of 2015, and in February of 2016 cast Anne Dudek and Adam Lustik.
From Pat Bishop, Matt Ingebretson, and Jake Weisman, Comedy Central says Corporate is “a dark, edgy look at life as a Junior-Executive-in-Training at your average, soulless multi-national corporation.” Ingebretson and Weisman star as Matt and Jake, respectively. The two find themselves “at the mercy of a tyrannical CEO Christian DeVille (Lance Reddick)” and his “top lieutenants, sycophants” John and Kate (Lustick and Dudek). Aparna Nancherla also stars as Grace, a Human Resources rep.
Jake Fogelnest executive produces with Ingebretson, Weisman, and Bishop, who also direct. Adam Londy and Ian Friedman are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
What do you think? How do you like the sound of the Corporate TV series? Do you plan to check out season one on Comedy Central.
