Despite relatively low Nielsen ratings, Comedy Central keeps trying its hand at scripted projects. The Corporate TV show, created by Pat Bishop with stars Matt Ingebretson and Jake Weisman, is their latest stab. Is another workplace comedy just the thing to tickle viewers’ funny bones at the end of a long day? Will Corporate be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
A Comedy Central sitcom, Corporate also stars Anne Dudek, Adam Lustick, and Aparna Nancherla, with special guest star Lance Reddick. The comedy explores life as a Junior-Executive-in-Training. At the profitable multi-national corporation, Hampton DeVille, Matt and Jake (Ingebretson and Weisman) are just two more cogs in the machine. Confrontational criticism rules the day, under the iron fist of CEO Christian DeVille (Reddick), and his sycophantic underlings John (Lustick) and Kate (Dudek). Guest stars in the first season of Corporate include Anna Akana, Jon Daly, Philip Baker Hall, Natasha Lyonne, Aimee Mann, Rory Scovel, Baron Vaughn, Kate Walsh, and Fred Willard. **Update below.
