Starz’s new series is shifting things around. Deadline reports executive producer Amy Berg has left the network’s upcoming TV show Counterpart prior to season two.
From writer Justin Marks, the drama “is the story of Howard Silk (JK Simmons), a lowly cog in a bureaucratic agency, who discovers that the agency he works for is really guarding a crossing into a parallel dimension.”
Berg served as an EP on season one of Counterpart, which just wrapped shooting. No reason was given for her departure and no replacement has been announced. Starz has already ordered a second season of the upcoming series, which does not yet have a premiere date.
What do you think? Do you watch Starz? Will you check out Counterpart?
