TV show description:
Attractive and single attorney Alex Rose (Jenna Elfman) works alongside her father Bill (Dabney Coleman) at his law firm.
While very proud of her, Bill wants to see his daughter married, preferably to someone like star lawyer Stephen (Josh Stamberg). Alex however falls for Scott Larson (Josh Randall), an impulsive renaissance man she meets in a bar.
Confused by her feelings, Alex depends on advice from her charming British artist neighbor Julian (Hugh Bonneville) and brutally honest assistant Molly (Jillian Bach).
