Amazon is teaming up with Reese Witherspoon. Deadline reports the streaming service has ordered a new TV show from the Big Little Lies star called Daisy Jones & The Six.
Based on the upcoming novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, the limited series “centers on a fictional rock band in the 1970s, following their rise through the ranks of the LA music scene and beyond, eventually becoming one of the most legendary bands in the world.”
Prime Video has ordered 13 episodes of Daisy Jones & The Six. Witherspoon’s production company, Hello Sunshine, is producing alongside Amazon Studios.
