A&E has released the “Run” and “End of Days” teasers to promote the premiere of its new Damien TV series, a sequel to The Omen film. Watch them, below.
Bradley James stars as an adult Damien Thorn, who must come to terms with the fact that he is the Antichrist. Barbara Hershey plays the powerful Ann Rutledge, who must ensure Damien fulfills his destiny. Omid Abtahi and Meganlyn Echikunwoke also star.
In the “Run” teaser, Damien says, “There has always been some…thing, like a dark cloud, hanging over me. It’s inside me, now. Growing.
Hershey’s Rutledge confronts Damien and says, “It’s time you finally know who you are.”

The “End of Days” teaser, starts with the same words from the title character, but the line is expanded to include, “I’ve ignored it. I’ve denied it, but it’s always been there.”
Rutledge says, “The seal’s been broken, the trumpet blown.” Lost‘s Sam Anderson cites the number of the beast. Other characters warn that the darkness is coming. “Plague, famine, the end of days.”

Hershey is a busy woman, this television season. In addition to her role on the new Damien series, she is reprising her role as Cora, in the second half of Once Upon a Time’s fifth season.
A&E’s Damien premieres Monday, March 7, 2016 at 10:00pm ET/PT, right after the fourth season premiere of Bates Motel. Watch the fourth season trailer for Bates Motel, here.
Initially A&E ordered six episodes of Damien straight to series. In April 2015, while the series was still in production in Toronto, Canada, the network ordered four additional episodes, bring the first season to a total of ten episodes.
