While it’s still unclear if Ryan Lochte will appear in the new season of Dancing with the Stars, one thing is certain. TVLine reports Maksim Chmerkovskiy will return for season 23 of the ABC series.
The professional dancer has been a veteran of the competition show since he first appeared in season two. Chmerkovskiy took a break from the show after season 18.
In season 23, he joins fellow professional dancers Gleb Savchenko, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Sharna Burgess, Lindsay Arnold, Allison Holker, Sasha Farber and Chmerkovskiy’s brother Val. The contestants for the new season will be announced on August 30th on Good Morning America.
