Dancing with the Stars: ABC TV Show Returns March 21st

Hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke will be back very soon as America gets to watch a new crop of “celebrities” with two left feet try to win the coveted disco ball trophy. Dancing with the Stars continues to be ABC’s top-rated reality series and one of the network’s most-watched shows overall. Last fall’s performance shows averaged a 4.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 20.61 million viewers. The results show averaged a 3.7 rating in the demo and 17.85 million.

ABC ANNOUNCES PREMIERE DATE FOR SEASON 12 OF “DANCING WITH THE STARS”

The stars, the drama, the glamour and the glitter are back on ABC! “Dancing with the Stars” returns for Season 12 on MONDAY, MARCH 21 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) with a sensational two-hour season premiere.

“Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” will premiere the following week on TUESDAY, MARCH 29 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

This season’s spectacular cast will be announced live on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28 during “The Bachelor.”

Hosted by Tom Bergeron (“America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Brooke Burke (“Dancing with the Stars” Season Seven Champion), “Dancing with the Stars” is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

“Dancing with the Stars” is the U.S. version of the international smash hit series, “Strictly Come Dancing.” This version is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions. Conrad Green serves as executive producer and Ashley Edens-Shaffer and Joe Sungkur are co-executive producers. Alex Rudzinski directs. “Dancing with the Stars” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound.
