Dancing with the Stars All Stars ratings resultsThe ratings for Dancing with the Stars have come down quite a bit over the past couple seasons. Could this be a sign of the end of this reality competition? Could it end up being cancelled in the next season or two?

The 15th season of Dancing with the Stars typically airs Monday and Tuesday nights on the ABC network.

The “All-Stars” teams are Pamela Anderson & Tristan MacManus, Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Sabrina Bryan & Louis van Amstel, Hélio Castroneves & Chelsie Hightower, Joey Fatone & Kym Johnson, Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough, Drew Lachey & Anna Trebunskaya, Gilles Marini & Peta Murgatroyd, Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy, Apolo Anton Ohno & Karina Smirnoff, Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas, Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani, and Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke.

Here are the TV show’s results show ratings for the Fall 2012-13 season, a way to tell if Dancing with the Stars is going to be cancelled or renewed for season 17.

Year-to-year, the first results show of Dancing with the Stars was down by an astounding 28% in the demo (vs a 2.9 rating) and 20% in viewers (vs 14.79 million). Viewership is still impressive but the demo has really dropped. How much lower will it go?


Reference point: The Fall 2011 season results shows averaged a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 15.44 million viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
