Danny Phantom: Creator Butch Hartman Draws the Characters “10 Years Later”

Danny Phantom TV show on Nickelodeon: canceled or renewed?

Creator Butch Hartman has aged and updated the characters from Nickelodeon’s Danny Phantom. Check out the new looks in the videos below.

An animated supernatural, superhero action-adventure, the Danny Phantom TV show ran for three seasons on Nickelodeon, between April of 2004 and August of 2007. The voice cast included David Kaufman, Grey DeLisle, Rickey D’Shon Collins, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Rob Paulsen, Kath Soucie, and Martin Mull.

In the first video, Hartman creates new looks for Tucker (Collins), Sam (DeLisle), and Danny (Kaufman). Check it out.

In the second video, Hartman updates Jazz (O’Shaughnessey), Jack (Paulsen), Maddie (Soucie), Vlad (Mull), and Dani (Krista Swan and AnnaSophia Robb), too.

Last year, Hartman reportedly wanted to make a Danny Phantom reboot, which focused on the characters, 10 years down the line. It looks like he’s still working on it.

In his notes under the first video, he asks fans to tweet Nickelodeon, to bring back the show. In February of this year, Nick released a Danny Phantom, TUFF Puppy, Fairly OddParents crossover short, to promote Hartman’s new series, Bunsen is a Beast.
