Dean Koontz is coming to the small screen. Deadline reports Mr. Robot‘s Gloria Reuben is adapting Dark Rivers of the Heart for television.
Published in 1994, the thriller “centers on an ex-Marine, haunted by a tortured past, who is on the run with a mysterious, troubled woman who witnessed the murder of her husband and parents.”
Reuben is partnering with Tree Line Film and Hyde Park Television to produce the series.
From Koontz:
I’m delighted to be working with Gloria Reuben, and I’m no less delighted by the team that has coalesced around her. Television has become the ideal medium for long multiple-thread novels like Dark Rivers of the Heart, and I look forward to binge-watching this!”
What do you think? Have you read the novel? Will you watch the series?
